Meet Amber Breyer

Hello new parents! I'm Amber Breyer, a registered nurse and trained doula serving the Northern VA area. I became a registered nurse in 2019, and became a trained postpartum doula in 2022 and trained birth doula in 2023. My love has always been for labor, new parents and infant support, and decided to bring my expertise to you while you labor and transition to life with a newborn. I grew up an Air Force brat, moving and traveling for as long as I remember. I am now a Marine Corps wife, and mother to a one year old daughter and two fur babies!

What Is A Doula?

"A trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible"
- DONA

Essentially, a doula is hired to provide holistic care to both the laboring or postpartum mother and family. As a birth doula, I will be providing physical techniques and emotional support to help guide you through your labor and delivery journey.
As a postpartum doula, I will come to your home and provide you with newborn care information, postpartum care information, and help make the transition from hospital to home as smooth as possible!
